Available on-demand

Quiet resignation is real. 73% of employees report moderate to high stress levels. Only 34% believe that their company genuinely cares about their wellbeing. More than 50% think about leaving.

In our webinar, we will review what 8,000 European employees had to say about their wellbeing, their employer support and what they need, to be as productive as possible.

This webinar will discuss the results of our 2022 International Workforce and Wellbeing Mindset Study which highlights the similarities and differences amongst employee opinions across France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The session will cover improvements that employers could make amidst a backdrop of economic uncertainty and social unrest driving change, anxiety and disruption.

Some key areas that will be discussed include:

  • Employee Experience: More than half (55%) of employees think about leaving their current employer
  • Productivity: Only 24% employees say they are always or almost always able to be fully productive while working
  • Overall Wellbeing: Fewer than half rate their overall wellbeing positively and 73% report moderate to high stress levels
  • Financial Wellbeing: Only 38% of employees rate their financial wellbeing positively
  • HR Technology: Only 34% deemed their human resource systems as effective

Study background

The 2022 Alight International Workforce and Wellbeing Mindset Study (2022 Employee Mindset Study) marks the 12th annual U.S. study. It is also the first time we have studied international employees’ wellbeing attitudes and needs, overall employee experiences, culture, total rewards, and workplace technology.

During February and March 2022, we collected 2,000 responses each from UK, Netherlands, France and Germany, among those employed full-time or part-time at companies with at least 1,000 employees. Included in the sample were respondents across multiple age groups, from a broad array of industries and in a variety of working situations (including at home, in the office and hybrids of the two). All data is reported at a 95% confidence level.
